Intimate Weddings

Intimate weddings are often destination weddings of roughly 100 persons or less! I will travel to your wedding destination and capture your full wedding day. This often includes 8+ hours of more traditional wedding photography consisting of pre-wedding photos, ceremony, group photos, couples private session, and afterparty coverage! Inquire below to discuss more and get a formal quote!

No matter the idea or location I'm excited to be part of your journey and to capture it in a meaningful way so that your memories can be re-lived for years to come! Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes! I will travel wherever your destination wedding or elopement location is. Additionally, if there is a location that you'd like to go that I've been I will be happy to share my recommendations and help you plan your day out!


No matter the location, the crazy idea, the hike, etc, I'm here to make sure your adventure is captured.

2.  Will  you help with planning our day or trip?

Absolutely, If you request, I am happy to recommend locations, best time of the day, extra clothes, etc. Additionally, I always scout sites at minimum the day before the shoot so if I come across any great locations or concerns, I can let you know what to be aware of beforehand! I guarantee that I will have done the hike or been to the location to scout prior to you to make sure your day progresses seamlessly! Your also welcome to text or call me with questions or concerns at any point in your planning process and I'll be happy to help you work though them.

3. What is your standard payment policy?

I require 50% to book and and 50% 1 week prior to the event/ travel for the event. For example, if you are eloping, 1 week before the departure date, I will require the full payment and this will also be the last opportunity to reschedule.



For all my shoots all  digital images are included in an online album that can be locked under password if requested. You will have roughly 6 months to download these images to your personal devices. You will receive a full album that will include 2 folders. One file will be large files size images, capable of being printed and enlarged. The other folder will be small file size images, meant primarily for sharing via mobile, social media, screen savers, etc, that will take up less storage space.


Photobooks will also be available if requested for a fee. I customize these personally and they have my personal storytelling touch!

5. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, if you have an idea or a certain shot in mind, I will hear you out and do my best to achieve the shot. However, please note that certain shots depend on time of day and weather. Regardless, I will try my best to achieve your dream shots!

6. Can we meet before the session?

100%. For weddings and elopements, I will actually require that we have a call, video call, or similar prior to booking to discuss wants, needs, and plans to make sure we are all in agreement with the vision of your wedding day! Even if it is an engagement or portrait session, you're always welcome to video call, call, or message me with questions!

7. How long till I receive the final photos?

All shoots will receive 3-10 photos (depending on session type) of sneak peaks the night of or day immediately following the event (fully edited).


The other sessions will be delivered as follows for full gallery delivery:

  • Couples Photos: 1-1.5 months
  • Portrait session: 1-2 months
  • Elopement: 1-2 months
  • Intimate wedding: 2-3 months


Rescheduling due to weather or family event is possible. You will be allowed to re-schedule another time with me without any additional fees if you re-schedule before the 1-week prior to travel date.


Full cancelation before the 1-week prior to travel date will only cost the 50% booking free.


Full cancelation after the 1-week prior to travel date will be non-refundable. Partial refunds due to unforeseen circumstances are possible, but at Lightsail Photography's discretion.
